Specialty coffee house on St Michael's Hill, Bristol. Hip hop on the speakers, Totoro on the shelf, gin stills humming next door.

Our story

A dream, rebuilt
bolt by bolt.

01

The van

It started in 2024 with a tired old Iveco Daily, hand-converted by Megan & Julian Hazledine into a fully off-grid kitchen: solar-powered, stubborn, and parked where Cornwall runs out of land.

02

The journey

From the hatch came world-fusion plates that wandered, Argentine chimichurri to Swedish cardamom to Cornish sea salt, served to swimmers, surfers and anyone who followed the smell of coffee down to the cove.

03

The coffee house

Now the handbrake is on for good. You'll find us inside Psychopomp Micro-Distillery on St Michael's Hill, Bristol: same beans, more seats, gin stills humming in the corner, and the full kitchen finally on.

The Hazeldines kitchen

Plant-based,
world-fusion.

Now serving. Born in the van back in 2024, on for good in Bristol. All plant-based, all made in-house.

Everything plant-based and made in-house. Allergies? Just ask at the counter.

The beans

Roasted with a
conscience.

Our house pour is MixTape, the signature blend from Triple Co Roast: a triple-certified micro roastery here in Bristol that works directly with South American coffee farmers. Fair prices at origin, small batches across town, and a cup that tastes like it.
