The van
It started in 2024 with a tired old Iveco Daily, hand-converted by Megan & Julian Hazledine into a fully off-grid kitchen: solar-powered, stubborn, and parked where Cornwall runs out of land.
Specialty coffee house on St Michael's Hill, Bristol. Hip hop on the speakers, Totoro on the shelf, gin stills humming next door.
Our story
It started in 2024 with a tired old Iveco Daily, hand-converted by Megan & Julian Hazledine into a fully off-grid kitchen: solar-powered, stubborn, and parked where Cornwall runs out of land.
From the hatch came world-fusion plates that wandered, Argentine chimichurri to Swedish cardamom to Cornish sea salt, served to swimmers, surfers and anyone who followed the smell of coffee down to the cove.
Now the handbrake is on for good. You'll find us inside Psychopomp Micro-Distillery on St Michael's Hill, Bristol: same beans, more seats, sharing the room with gin stills and the Sonny Stores crew. Our own kitchen? Watch this space.
The beans
We brew exclusively with Triple Co Roast, a triple-certified micro roastery here in Bristol that works directly with South American coffee farmers. Fair prices at origin, small batches across town, and a cup that tastes like it.
